Lollipops by Carl Kleiner

hannahteak:

I love this new work by Carl Kleiner: Lollipops
Says the artist: ‘Im a collector of different materials, and I have a lot of samples arranged in my studio window. I re-arrange them every now and then. It is like my japanese garden.
One hot summer day I built a composition looking like an ice cream that I felt Ettore Sottsass would have liked, and I felt very inspired and made this series.’

A VW Sinking in Milk

Today we are reflecting on the past with this confusing, yet interesting sculpture created by world renowned artist Ivan Puig; depicting an old VW sinking in Milk. Ivan likes to think of his art as humorous in someway, while at the same time invoking confusion and fascination.

An amazing stop motion sculpture called “Möbius" can be seen roaming through Federation Square. The sculpture looks like a triangle made snake, sinking within itself… EPIC.
