What is politics? Why do we have it? What is the relationship between politics and metaphysics, politics and economics? How do we understand the body politic and the politics of the body?
The Brooklyn Institue for Social Research is having its inaugural class “Politics of the City I: Plato and Aristotle” TOMORROW night. Students will get a chance to examine the foundation of political philosophy in reference to both ancient and modern urban life. Head to the Brooklyn Institute’s website for more information and to enroll.
The class starts TOMORROW (Tuesday, January 31st), from 7-9 PM in the back room of Building on Bond (corner of Pacific and Bond). There will be an informal cocktail hour after the class, giving you a chance to dig even deeper into the subject.
